Gender Parity in International Legal Bodies: Are We there yet?

This paper discusses the different types of rules inducing a gender-balanced composition international legal bodies, recent evolution in those bodies from gender perspective, and relationship between aforementioned state art since 2021 Human Rights Council Report on current levels representation women human rights organs mechanisms. The study differentiates hard soft equality governing nomination election procedures for bodies. final aim is to draw conclusions nature effectiveness set rules, proposing twofold strategy advance balance question.
